    Valis Ablaze

In January 2017, VALIS ABLAZE released Insularity, the first EP in their new direction - produced by Metal Hammer Golden God winner and prolific YouTuber, Drewsif Stalin. The impact of the singles leading up to the EP release saw them added to many bills in the prog-metal world, including supports with Tesseract, Sikth, The Contortionist, Monuments, Dead Letter Circus, Vola and another, more accepted set at UK Tech-Metal Fest. Not only did they pick up a legion of fans along the way, progressive minded label Long Branch saw the huge potential and snapped them up for their debut album. Although wearing their influences on their sleeves at times, VALIS ABLAZE provide an intriguing alternative to the progressive metal norm; swells of creative ingenuity shine throughout, as well as thought out details and subtle complexities that will keep the listener returning again and again. Although wearing their influences clearly on their sleeves, VALIS ABLAZE provide an intriguing alternative to the progressive metal norm; swells of creative ingenuity shine throughout, as well as thought out details and subtle complexities that will keep the listener returning again and again. With their debut full-length, VALIS ABLAZE present an even more refined sound, produced by Justin Hill (Sikth, Heart of a Coward, Bury Tomorrow): low end grooves juxtaposed with soaring vocal lines, crisp milton-cleans and atmospheric synths, all driven by intricate rhythm work and growling bass. A huge spectrum of energy, emotion, power and beauty. Boundless was released April 6th, worldwide on Long Branch Records.

    Dash Cooper - Lead Vocals
    Kolby 'Beetus' Peoples - Guitar
    Jeremy Tabor - Guitar
    Justin Swartzentruber - Bass
    Nick Spann - Drums

No strangers to performance, CO-OP brings a big, powerful sound to their show. Forming in 2014, CO-OP began gathering a small following in the local Phoenix scene. Within a few years, having shared a stage with rock legends like Motley Crue, The Hollywood Vampires and Alice Cooper, CO-OP is expanding their influence beyond Arizona and even outside the United States.

Founder and frontman Dash Cooper’s powerful vocals mix a classic rock undertone with the strength and grit of modern rock, while guitar player Jeremy Tabor introduces heavy riffs mixed with melodic hooks that keep the music powerful and interesting. Justin Swartzentruber (bass) and Nick Spann (drums) hold down the foundation.

Not content to stick only to pursuing their careers in music, CO-OP often puts their skills to work helping raise funds for Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Center. The work has often brought with it opportunities to perform as a back-up band along with other philanthropic volunteers such as Alex Lifeson (Rush), Danny Seraphine (Chicago) and Tommy Thayer of Kiss.

2017 brought the band on their first tour with label mates One Eyed Doll and Dollskin. In 2018, the band played direct support for FLAW on their Spring tour. Their debut album will be released worldwide on June 15, 2018 under Ellefson's EMP Label Group, with their first single 'N.O.W.' already gaining radio airplay nationwide.

Other artists CO-OP has performed with:
Motley Crue, Alice Cooper, KISS, The Hollywood Vampires, Korn, Trivium, Steel Panther, One Eyed Doll, Doll Skin, Max Cavalara of Soul Fly, Alex Lifeson of Rush, Tommy Thayer of KISS, Robbie Krieger of The Doors, 9 Electric, Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers, Beasto Blanco, Johnny Lang, Rob Halford of Judas Priest, Orianthi, P.O.D., Thousand Foot Crutch, Ted Nugent, Night Ranger, Danny Seraphine of Chicago, Love and Death, Colt Ford, Dee Snider of Twisted Sister, Lita Ford, Rob Zombie, Bret Michaels of Poison, Tom Kiefer of Cinderella, The Iron Maidens, Lola Black, The Chimpz, Future Leaders of the World, Great White, Slaughter, Jackyl, Fireflight, Don Felder of The Eagles, LA Guns, Buried as Thieves.

  • Thy Catafalque

Tamás Kátai - vocals, strings and electronics

Thy Catafalque was born in 1998 in Makó, a small town in Hungary playing black metal by Tamás Kátai (also from Gire) and János Juhász. Just after their first and only demo KaOtic Productions decided to release their first album in 1999 entitled Sublunary Tragedies, followed by the second record Microcosmos in 2001.

Throughout the passing years the music became more and more experimental with deep touches of electronic and folkloric influences feeding from their homeland in Central Europe. Meanwhile KaOtic Productions ceased to exist and the third album, Tűnő Idő Tárlat (An Exhibition of Vanishing Time) came to sunlight as a self-financed release in 2004. By this time lyrics turned to Hungarian and music turned out to be the most diverse and colourful experimentum coming out from the band.

This world was painted with more vivid colours in the 2009 release entitled Róka Hasa Rádió by Czech label, Epidemie Records. The main concept behind the album is the relationship between the ever evolving, solid and massive physical matter and the fragileness of all living spirits throughout distant childhood memories and scientific explanations of nature. Revolving, rotating movements of past and future, colours, sounds, long lost scents theough a weird transmission from a timeless radio. Guest appearences from musicians of Woodland Choir, The Moon And The Nightspirit and Gire.

In 2011 Thy Catafalque signed to Season Of Mist. The fifth album entitled Rengeteg is released in November 2011. This is the first album without the participation of János Juhász leaving the band in 2011. This time all the instruments were recorded by Tamás Kátai. All male clean vocals by Attila Bakos (Woodland Choir, Taranis), female vocals by Ágnes Tóth (The Moon And The Nightspirit).

In 2013 Finnish label Blood Music released Rengeteg, Róka Hasa Rádió and Tűnő Idő Tárlat in double vinyl format remastered and redesigned for strictly limited editions.

The sixth album 'Sgùrr' was released in 2015 by Season Of Mist again on vinyl and digibook CD.

'The Early Works' was published by Blood Music in December, 2015. The collection includes the band's only demo 'Cor Cordium' and the first two albums 'Sublunary Tragedies' and 'Microcosmos' and came in 3xCD digipak and 3xLP vinyl box format.

With the 2016 album 'Meta', the ever-evolving THY CATAFALQUE transforms once again. The Hungarian progressive/experimental metal project, helmed by composer, lyricist, and multi-instrumentalist Tamás Kátai, takes a heavier, more direct tack than on last years sprawling 'Sgùrr'. Kátai effortlessly weaves idiosyncratic experimental passages and folk melodies through this [much] heavier and more black/doom/death metallic album. THY CATAFALQUE's enduring unpredictability makes it one of metal's most unique bands, and 'Meta' is yet another distinct and indispensable piece of their integral catalogue of albums.

  • Carach Angren

    Carach Angren

    Line-up

    Seregor - vocals & guitars
    Ardek - orchestration & keyboards
    Namtar - drums

The Dutch masters of horror are back with their most flamboyant album so far. On ‘Dance and Laugh amongst the Rotten’, CARACH ANGREN are painting musical pictures that easily combine the grandiose depth of a Rembrandt with Van Gogh's maelstrom of whirling colours and the utter madness of Bosch. This lusciously seductive danse macabre will drag you in and never let go.
CARACH ANGREN have employed all the sonic colours on their palette to dazzling effect. Their trademark whipping guitars are weaving harsh melodies and sinister soundscapes, which are beautifully contrasted by opulent keyboards and majestic orchestrations. That Till Lindemann (RAMMSTEIN) and Peter Tägtgren (PAIN) have called upon the composition talent of Clemens 'Ardek' Wijers is a telling sign of his outstanding mastery of the craft. Another signatory counterpoint is provided by Seregor's fierce rasping and shrieking vocals. Adding to the impact, Namtar has become a relentless driving force with his hart hitting yet intricate drumming. Each track on this album is a highlight on its own, while combined 'Dance and Laugh amongst the Rotten' simply shines.
CARACH ANGREN set out to tell ghost-stories with a set of paranormal cases recorded on the demo 'The Chase Vault Tragedy' (2004). This was soon followed by the official release of the 'Ethereal Veiled Existence' EP (2005) as a prelude to the haunting 'Lammendam' (2008). The Dutch had a clear vision of combining a dark baroque style of metal with horror based lyrical concepts. Their sophomore full-length 'Death Came through a Phantom Ship' (2010) witnessed the band setting sail to bring their eccentric and capturing live performances to audiences and festivals all over Europe. In the wake of third album 'Where the Corpses Sink Forever' (2012), the haunting had reached the Americas and started to spread rapidly. This recorded added a serious side to the lyrics of CARACH ANGREN. While firmly remaining in the horror genre, their tales revolve around the evils of war. This mature streak was taken a step further with the fourth full-length 'This Is No Fairytale', which is on the surface a darker variation of the 'Hansel and Gretel' story from the Brothers Grimm collection, but also deals with the too real topic of child abuse in a dysfunctional family.
With ‘Dance and Laugh amongst the Rotten’, CARACH ANGREN are returning to 'pure' storytelling with episodes that are centered on a girl playing a little too long with her Ouija board. The Dutch have pushed their unashamedly theatric style to a new intense height. You do not believe us yet? Press play and unleash these radiant ghosts into your home…

  • DEAD BY MONDAY

    DEAD BY MONDAY

DEAD BY MONDAY have been burrowing away since 2016, crafting and honing their potent sound. Originally setting out to write politically charged punk rock songs, the foursome soon evolved and began to create something heavier and acutely self-aware.  With Murray Taylor (Vocals), Ciaran Whyte (Drums), Declan Buist (Bass) and Paddy Chapman (Guitar), the quartet have pooled from a slew of musical influences sweeping from Rage Against The Machine and The Dillinger Escape Plan, through to NOFX and Gallows.

  • ETERNAL FLAME

    ETERNAL FLAME

ETERNAL-FLAME emerged from the local Munich Band 'Firefox' founded in 1986. Their sound at that time was stylistically classified between Europe, Pretty Maids and Yngwie Malmsteen. After the drummer „Jörg Tausch“ left the band in 1992, they wanted to embark on new paths. ETERNAL FLAME was born. The style of the band became somewhat harsher. Keyboards were no longer the supporting element as in 'Firefox'. In addition, neoclassical elements were added by Michael Schinkel´s guitar playing. At the end of 1996, the recordings for the debut album 'Desire' began, which was published in 1998 by Point-Music-München and Dreamchaser in Japan. The album was highly praised by the press and received an 80 points rating from Japanese BURN. In the following years, the band was performing life concerts and also played in larger halls and festivals. At the beginning of 2002 the follow-up album 'King of the King' was published by MTM-Music. It was sold among others to Russia .In the meantime, the cast of the band had also changed again. After numerous appearances, they started to work on the third studio album. Due to musical differences, the band separated in 2004 without producing an album. Michael Schinkel and Helmut Kohlpaintner (last keyboard player from the Eternal-Flame days) founded the company 'enooma-media musicproduction' in 2006, in order to compose and produce for other artists. Again and again they created, rock songs which were „parked“. In 2012 a new album under the flag 'Michael Schinkel ´s Eternal Flame' was discussed. In addition to standard production, other songs for the new album were created. Through collaboration with other artists, Timothy Touchton (known by lyrics such as 'Go for Gold' Olympics in Seoul 1988, 'Sail Away' Joe Cocker as well as 11 Top 40 and 3 top 5 hits) could also be won for lyric writing. The album was enhanced by other guests such as Mark Boals (ex Yngwie Malmsteen and Ring of Fire) and Göran Edman (ex Yngwie Malmsteen and John Norum).
