  • Liberty Lies

    Liberty Lies

Liberty Lies are a five piece formed in 2008 from a small town called Wednesbury in the Black Country, West Midlands.

Aged 16, the band found themselves purchasing a PA system and performing covers in pubs in order to fund their original material, which they slowly introduced to their sets.

By 2009, Liberty Lies had notched up a number of support slots with the likes of GUN, Skin, Towers of London before landing a UK tour with rock veterans Magnum.

2010 bought their debut EP release, New Addiction. The EP showcased the bands early influences, from the likes of Black Stone Cherry, Alter Bridge and Shinedown.

Not long after this, LL had a change in line up, which brought about a much more alternative, modern sound which later became their debut album Reflections, produced by Romesh Dodangoda.

2012 was a landmark year for the band as they embarked on their first European tour, supporting Shinedown and Halestorm in Germany, Holland and the UK.

Liberty Lies found themselves being able to headline small shows around the country for the first time in their career. Nationwide UK runs with other unsigned bands helped the band create their follow up EP, Fracture. They were also voted as finalists of Red Bull’s unsigned band competition which almost see them win a place at Download Festival.

Once again, the band returned to Cardiff to record the EP with Romesh.

In recent years, the band have signed with TKO Booking Agency and toured with the likes of Max Raptor, Heaven’s Basement, Santa Cruz, Empire, Press to Meco and had one off shows with Alien Ant Farm and Skillet amongst nationwide festivals.

2016 will see Liberty Lies release their latest single Are You Listening and do their most extensive UK tour with SOiL, Saliva and Sons of Texas amongst summer festival appearances.
Looking to produce something uniquely different the band's sound continually evolves.

The band's latest output is a four track EP entitled 'Fracture' which they recorded with Romesh Dodangoda at longwave studios in Cardiff. The EP 'demonstrates the band as both superb song-smiths and adroit musicians', check it out now on Spotify and iTunes!

  • Palm Reader

    Palm Reader

Palm Reader have spent the last seven years honing their craft everywhere from the dingiest toilet venues in Britain to the biggest festival stages in Europe, continuously improving both as a live band and as songwriters as they have crept stealth like to the upper echelons of the United Kingdom's most respected underground acts. With a successful debut album under their belts the band continued their immaculate work ethic into building to the release in early 2015 of their stunning sophomore effort Besides The One's We Love, once again it's release, this time on the acclaimed In At The Deep End Records, was met with universally positive reviews. After an uncalculatable number of live shows over five years, the members of Palm Reader decided to take some time away from the live environment to dedicate themselves fully to the creation of their third album. In their absence many young, new British bands have taken commercial and artistic leaps toward Palm Reader, with the band themselves now no longer the young upstarts with potential, instead the pressure is on them to deliver a career defining masterpiece.

  • Pseudo

    Pseudo

Formed in 2010, founding members Jonathan Lyte and Mikhail Castro, along with high school friend Kevin Baybayan decided that they would play music together.

The band found it’s footing in bands like Green Day and blink-182, eventually recording a 5 song EP that took great influence from the 90s pop-punk movement.

At the end of 2012, the band parted ways with their bass player Kevin and recruited Liam - Jonathan’s brother. Still a trio, the band continued with a new found sense of maturity and musical interests, which found the group playing more evolved styles of music drawing influence from the likes of Propagandhi, The Flatliners, PUP, Jeff Rosenstock, and Against Me! – to name a few.

Over the years, Pseudo has become a rooted in their message to demonstrate to the punk scene and world at large that anybody, from all walks off life, can be part of something beautiful by creating music that reflects individual experiences, shortcomings, and the issues that we face being a band comprised solely of visible minorities.

Pseudo has recorded 1 studio EP and 1 LP with an alt-punk sound that balances pop-punk and emo with progressive elements to create a well-rounded power band that knows no limits to creativity, spunk, rhythm, and style.

  • Ghouls

    Ghouls

London-based punk rock quintet, GHOULS, are striding into 2017 with their new 12 track album, 'RUN' set for release on 5th May 2017 via 1471 Records.

Inspired by true stories from the daily grind of real life and the struggles faced in the modern day, 'RUN' encapsulates the challenges, thought processes and feelings of a group of young men coming of age.

A graduation record in many ways, it brings an updated, mature sound to the table from GHOULS. 'RUN' was recorded in Spring 2016 by Dan Lucas at Anchor Baby Recording Company and mastered by Oli Morgan at Fluid Mastering.

Coming from a range of different musical backgrounds, the band has never bowed down to specific genre restrictions or a scene of any sort- they simply pride themselves on making original, stand-out music that gives them the possibility to tour the world.

'We arent bothered where were placed or how you categorize us as a band, only that you notice that were unique and offer something for those who stand out and feel they are different from the rest of the crowd.' says frontman Benedict Goold.

GHOULS pride themselves on being an inclusive family. As individuals they never found themselves fitting into particular scenes or crowds, instead creating their own gang of misfits. 'We are a family that extends wider than the 5 band members of the band; from the people who come to our shows, listen to our songs, to the people who have driven us around, put us up, fed us, gave us a home for a few hours - we're all family. Ghouls stand for the people who dont fit in, and perhaps dont want to fit in, the people that just want to be themselves.'

GHOULS have cemented themselves as mainstays on the UK and European circuit, where their relentless touring ethic has seen them hit every corner of the continent, including leading festivals, such as 2000Trees, Jera On Air, The Secret Garden Party, Mighty Sounds, Hit The Deck and more. 2016 saw more milestones in the bands plans for world domination; a two-week tour of the USA, including an appearance at THE FEST in Gainesville, Florida, and a massive Brixton Academy show as part of the Fireball Fuelling The Fire Tour.

The GHOULS journey started in 2013 and has been backed up by a pair of impressive releases to date. The release of debut album 'Ten Thousand Words On' saw Ghouls sell-out The Monarch in Camden, attended by a raft of fans, including Frank Turner, who continues to speak of his admiration for the promising young act.

Everything that the band has achieved today has been through DIY means and testament to the bands sheer determination to make things work. 'If you want something or you want to do something, dont wait for it to happen, go and make it happen, even if you make mistakes continues, Benedict GooldWe have found family and friends in people all across the world all because we decided we just wanted to. We never waited for anyone to help us make those things happen, and yes weve made and learnt from mistakes but thats how you grow –its what makes life exciting. Go out and do it. Whatever it is. If you need to train for it, then what are you waiting for? Enter the race and train. Take risks. Find the means, whatever it might take, and just go do. Life isnt forever.'
