Decade have carefully and consistently been grafting away in the background for the past two years, crafting and sculpting their sound into something that’s now as progressive as it is packed with nostalgia from another time.
Their strength comes from a time where songs were king and music was made from unflinching desire and necessity, rather than expectation. From their early roots in pop-punk at their inception, to their latest studio album Pleasantries, the five-piece have found their footing on firmer, more adult ground with a sound that has matured and blossomed into a contemporary take on Brit-pop and grunge. Taking the time to get things right has, in their case, proved fruitful indeed.
Over the course of five years the band have released two EPs and one full-length album, their 2014 debut Good Luck, which saw them sign to Spinefarm Records (Universal) and led to appearances at Reading & Leeds Festival, Download Festival, Slam Dunk and many more, plus a feature track on the latest Guitar Hero videogame. They have toured extensively across the UK and Europe with the likes of Saves The Day, The Used, A Day To Remember.

Described as “inventive, brooding and atmospheric” by XS Noize, Veins combine gritty bass and hypnotic drums with layered guitars and melodic vocals to create a sound that nestles ethereal intimacy alongside rock grandeur.
2017 saw the band release their debut single Ambi to positive reviews and radio play across the UK, Europe and U.S.A, including the Huw Stephens Show on BBC Radio 1; as well as a slot at Camden Rocks Festival alongside the likes of Feeder, Pulled Apart By Horses and many more.
February 23rd 2018 sees the band return with a new single Blood On My Hands and an album planned for later in the year.

Dark Stares are a British alternative rock band from St Albans, United Kingdom. Their self-released, September 2012 debut EP ‘Tell Your Friends’ drew plaudits across many platforms, alongside their first music video for the song ‘Whisky’, which caught the attention of fans, press and artists alike.
An opening slot with Enter Shikari at The Forum in Hertfordshire is amongst their live highlights to date, as well as performing as the sole support to The Darkness for their intimate comeback show at the prestigious 100 Club on Oxford Street.
After a summer of local and national festivals, where they shared main-stages with the likes of Fun Lovin’ Criminals and The Subways, 2012 delivered XFM airplay with the Rock Show and a growing international presence. 2013 has ushered in an increasingly heavy sound, with singles ‘Bad Machine’ and ‘Shinigami’ going viral and their psychedelic music videos foreshadowing the release of ‘Octopon’, the highly anticipated second official release from the band.

Flowers For Charlie are a hard hitting pop punk band formed in the slums that are student housing in Manchester. Their sound incorporates the best of pop punk with an unapologetic edge. You can expect a loud, energetic performance full of hooky melodies, aggressive-punchy guitar lines and raw, angst-ridden lyrics delivered with a no-nonsense northern attitude. The lads draw inspiration from legendary bands such as Green Day, Blink-182 and New Found Glory as well as bands newer on the scene such as Neck Deep and Moose Blood. Whenever they perform, FFC go the extra distance and aren’t afraid to push the boundaries in pursuit of their art, and of course, having a good time. One thing’s for sure; you won’t leave disappointed.

Mohkis - DrumsOver thirty countries toured in a decade and the ever variable heavy music. That`s what Finnish Dead Shape Figure is made of.
Started from a narrow corner of thrash metal the band has opened to a much greater fields retaining the straight forward, fistful of energy as the guiding line. Since the very beginning Dead Shape Figure has gone where only a few dares to go: from the smallest clubs on Earth to the biggest open air festivals in Asia and every imaginable European metal venue in between. Accompanied to tours with Samael, Moonspell, Cradle Of Filth, Kataklysm and Iced Earth the band has gained a fan base a former diy-band could only imagine a couple years back. Total enthusiasm is the answer to the question how does Dead Shape Figure keeps their shit together?
It`s not earlier than on the latest works of the band where it`s clearly heard that the band doesn`t only play a certain genre of metal music; it plays Dead Shape Figure. At least during the collaboration in 2012 with Samael`s mr. XY the band learned not to write a sheet or note without a meaning. With their third album Opus Victoria Dead Shape Figure is holding the robe of grandiose to say the least. It`ll be a hell of a next decade. -

Steve Moore - guitars
Jr Afrifa - guitars
Graham McNulty - bass
Gordy Gray - drumsStormzone, a name evoking images of power and strength, both of which are essential elements in the excitement and passion generated by the Irish band’s brand of melodic Heavy Metal!
Stormzone were formed initially as a studio project in 2004 by vocalist John ‘Harv’Harbinson who was itching for a new creative outlet after a brief break from the rock industry. Harbinson had previously enjoyed success in bands such as No Sweat, Fastway, Sweet Savage and Den of Thieves (who enjoyed considerable and continuing success in the Japanese rock market). Harbinson immediately set about recruiting session musicians, which would lead to the recording and release of the debut Stormzone album, ‘Caught In The Act’, in 2007.
At one point Harbinson joined an Iron Maiden tribute band with bassist Graham McNulty as a side project. During rehearsals, the band decided to compose some original material, which brought Harbinson to realise that he had a functioning live band; a band he could fold into Stormzone allowing the outfit to go beyond the studio and onto the road.
In 2008, Stormzone were to play Firefest in Nottingham England but down a drummer at this point, Davy Bates (ex-Sweet Savage) stepped in to save the day, which then led Bates into the bands ranks on a permanent basis.Following extensive live success in Europe, the band decided to record a new album in the vein of their rapidly evolving classic metal style. Having already caught the attention of rock industry producer/DJ Neil Kay, (famed for discovering Iron Maiden) he consequently agreed to co-produce the resulting album, 2010's ‘Death Dealer’.
Following ‘Death Dealer’ the band hit the road hard. Highlights included supporting American rockers Tesla, appearing at 2009's Sweden Rocks Festival and playing a sold out show in the bands hometown of Belfast, Northern Ireland supporting Y&T.Early 2011 saw another quake in the ranks, which would lead to guitarist Steve Moore entering the fold. Moore had previously played with Riff Master General and Fireland, toured with the likes of Kreator and Dragonforce and has appeared on, and engineered, several albums.
After supporting Stryper on the Spanish leg of their 2011 European tour, the band played the W.E.T. stage at Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany before setting about recorded their third album ‘Zero To Rage’. The album was produced by guitarist Steve Moore at his FireMachine Studio in Antrim, Northern Ireland and was released by SPV/Steamhammer in November 2011.
2013 saw the band shake hands with a new label, Metal Nation Records, which was founded by Jess Cox, ex-Neat Records/Edgy Records boss and original Tygers Of Pan Tang vocalist. The fourth album ‘Three Kings’ would be released later that year, in September 2013. The very first Stormzone video was also shot that summer, with the album title track video going on to achieve over 30,000 views in just a few months since its release.
Following the release of ‘Three Kings’ the band once again hit the road, playing several tours across the UK & Ireland, with bands such as Saxon and appearing at prestigious festivals such as Sonisphere & Bloodstock Open Air.
Just over a year on from ‘Three Kings’ Stormzone are about to embark on yet another journey. Having spent some time once again behind the locked doors of FireMachine Studio, the band has only just emerged. A new album has been completed, a concept album based on humanity's tendency to sin, otherwise know as capital vices or cardinal sins but most famously known as the ‘Seven Sins’.
‘Seven Sins’ is available now via Metal Nation Records.

joe grotto - BassGozu first emerged on the scene in 2010, after the release of their seven track, self-titled EP, Gozu heave the rock yet embody the soul on songs like human-liberation anthem “Rise Up”, and the D.A.R.E.-baiting “Meth Cowboy”. Fronted by Marc Gaffney vocals and guitar, Doug Sherman on guitar, Joe Grotto on bass, and Mike Hubbard on drums, Gozu’s sound is tailor-made for blasting out the car speakers via international radio airwaves. That music pulling up alongside you while walking the street minding your business, demanding that you get in the goddamned car. You come-to after two lost days on the side of a dirt road, dazed and bruised.
Small Stone Records soon snapped up Gozu, releasing their critically acclaimed album 'Locust Season' that same year. Gozu spent the next year touring the Northeast with bands like St. Vitus, Pallbearer, Lo Pan, Storm of Light, Helmet, Elder, Mos Generator, Church of Misery, and Fu Manchu.
Shadowing the success of Locust Season, Gozu returned to the studio in 2013, recording their sophomore full-length album 'The Fury of a Patient Man'. Fury displays Gozu still driven by Gaff’s butter melting melodies and Doug’s mega-thick riffs, but with an expanded scope. Whether it’s a 24-minute deconstructed jam of “The Ceaseless Thunder Of Surf”, or the High on Fire-style gallop of “Charles Bronson Pinchot”, the band had paved their way to new musical terrain. Gozu’s songs have aired on national television, broadcast via MTV (Road Rules, Dudesons, Real World), NBC, and NASCAR. They have been nominated for numerous awards, as well as twice- invited to perform at the annual South by Southwest (SXSW) international media and music festival in Austin, TX. Late 2014 sends Gozu off on their first European tour, performing at both Roadburn in Tilburg, Netherlands, and DesertFest Berlin with Yob, Church of Misery and Kvelertak.
Gozu headed into Wild Arctic Studio in 2015, working with Dean Baltulonis (Primitive Weapon, Sick Of It All, Hatebreed) to record their much-celebrated third album, “Revival” (Ripple Music).
The year 2016 has brought Gozu front and center in the heavy rock and metal world. Gozu embarked on their second European tour, with Portland, Oregon’s own Holy Grove. Conquering seven countries to perform 20 shows in 20 days was a giant success to add to Gozu’s list of accomplishments.
This year also delivers Gozu into a new relationship with Laurens Kusters’ management company Brooklyn Larry (Sick Of It All, Street Dogs).
Gozu now announces a new development in their signing on with Blacklight Media, a brand-new imprint from Metal Blade Records. Blacklight Media was founded by celebrity chef Chris Santos, in collaboration with Metal Blade Records CEO Brian Slagel.

Danny Wright is a self-taught, self-made singer, guitarist, songwriter and actor who rarely fits neatly into one stereotypical box. A former frontman of touring rock bands DissolvedIN and We Are Lost Boys, he played all over the world, performed at Download festival and enjoyed press acclaim from Kerrang! magazine. Now a solo artist with a clutch of pop- influenced and intensely personal new songs to unveil (helmed by You Me At Six/Lower Than Atlantis producer John Mitchell), he is taking the next step in what’s set to be a long career.
“The song is about anxiety and crippling ambition,” says Danny of his debut release. “I actually started writing it a long time ago, but I never finished it due to what I thought was writer’s block. I’ve been sitting on some songs for years telling myself they are not ready. Last year I had an extreme anxiety attack and was rushed to A+E, and afterwards I had therapy sessions - which was one of the best things I ever did. In those sessions, I learned a lot about my behaviours, my habits and my demons. ‘Staying In’ is about the process of creating, and because of that psychological breakthrough it became almost effortless to finally finish.”
