Learn more about Denmark band Black Income

Hello. Many thanks to take your time to answer few questions for Distrolution. Typical ask I know, could you introduce yourself and your band? Thank’s for having us... Black Income is Solid Style - Alternative Hard Rock Band that's how the media often describes us... We started out in 2011/2012 and our Debut Album ‘Noise Pollution’ came out in 2016,same year we just got Nominated by Danish GAFFA for "The best Hard Rock/Metal Release in 2016", along with bands like VOLBEAT, PRETTY MAIDS, etc.. So was quite exciting although we didn't win the price... Besides Touring in Europe 2015/2016, we are now working on our next full album, and the first single is out now, and called “Feels Like A Storm”. The single was recorded at the Legendary "MedLey Studios" in Copenhagen DK. with Soren Andersen (D.A.D / Mike Tramp / Glenn Hughes) as Producer once again.. We plan for the Album to hit the streets in the middle of 2018... For people who don't know you, how would you describe your music? Black Income is Solid Style - Alternative Hard Rock Band, Our music is often described as Tight Stoner Grunge with a melodic twist, we aim to write interesting songs, and we really do our best to keep things new, although we play a certain genre like Grunge… But we add some new flavors to the genre, and we’re not here to repeat the past at any point, we really aim to do things our own way, and we put a lot of effort into creating our own sound. Each band has its own influences, what are yours? Where does the inspiration come from? We listen to a lot of music, but bands like Queens Of the Stone Age and their way of doing rythmes inspired us a lot, also bands like SoundGarden, Nirvana and Stone Temple Pilots we love a lot… not that we aim to sound like them, we just love the punchy edge and the vocal harmonies. What’s your musical background and your composition process? Well whenever a good idea comes to mind, we write or start writing, if it’s on the road we often just get the idea down, so we don't forget it… and later on we take to the studio and start writing more finished versions of our ideas, before recording them. You released « Drug » recently. Can you tell us more about this song? DRUG is from our forthcoming album to be released this summer, and the title of the song is "DRUG" and it’s in fact the right opposite of what you properly would think of the title, it’s more like a Anti Drug uptempo Rock Tune for that matter... It seems everyone is on drugs these days, so we thought hey, let’s do a song about how these stressed out weekend junkies look to us in public… Can you describe the visual you use for « Drug » song release? Yeah, what do people really see, when you in another world how do you see yourself, and how do others see you.. that’s the approach on the hand looking all strange. https://open.spotify.com/track/6dNmpImWeA5e7tfheGfo9m You’re on the roaster of Mighty Music/Target Group, what is your background with this label? We releassed our debut album "Noise Pollution" on Migty Music, nothing more to say about that.. now we’re on TUBE IT - music, a more independent label where we keep our rights a 100%, no bullshit.. What are the band's short and long term projects? We have a couple of gigs comming up in Denmark, besides that we are finishing our second album, and after that who know whats gonna happen :). This is a question i like to ask: Distrolution is mainly based in France. Have you ever visited our country? (If yes, can you tell us too what you preferred in France?) Actually we have been on vacation in france a couple of times.. :) Love the weather and the Beer :).. it’s a lovely country.. [embed] Any last word for your fans?
