    Set Before Us

    Introduction

Set Before Us came together as a band in the early months of 2012. The quintet hailing from the suburbs of Stockholm quickly moved on from covers and started writing and rehearsing their own material.

    The basics

The idea of Set Before Us is mainly to present a energetic and inspiring live show. The audience will be taken on a ride which will include various interactive moments and powerful songs.
The songs themselves are melodic metalcore with numerous influences from other types of music.
Set Before Us lyrics aim to inspire and motivate each individual to take control of their fate, destiny and life. The lyrics will tackle various dilemmas and give the audience a spark of deep thought.

    Timeline

  • The Amorettes

    The Amorettes

The Amorettes exploded onto the International Music scene in early 2015, with the release of their acclaimed album, Game On, and debut UK tour, as Special Guests to Rock Legends, Europe and Black Star Riders.

With rave reviews coming in from all over the UK and Europe for the Chris Tsangarides produced album, The Amorettes set about building their fan-base with an old fashioned attitude of “Take it to the people!” Touring relentlessly all over the UK and Europe, with the likes of ASH, Thunder, Black Stone Cherry, Danko Jones and GUN. And with incendiary appearances at Festivals in the UK, Netherlands, France and Belgium, The Amorettes show no signs of slowing down as they continue to deliver more of their gritty, punk-tinged Rock ‘n’ Roll explosion!

The Amorettes have engaged the services of some of the music industry’s heavyweights in order to complete the recording of their new album. With Luke Morley, lead guitarist and songwriter for UK rock act, Thunder, in the producer’s chair, and with recording and mixing handled by Nick Brine (The Darkness, Bruce Springsteen, Coldplay, Ash, and Snow Patrol, to name just a few), and with mastering by Pete Maher (The Rolling Stones, U2), the band set up at Leeders Vale Studios in South Wales to record their most exciting album yet.

So, true to form, this Scottish 3 piece, described in the press as 'Like Airbourne fronted by Joan Jett', and a “Female Motorhead”, are continuing with their “ No-Nonsense attitude, and DIY approach. The Amorettes have grabbed Rock ‘n’ Roll by the scruff of the neck and have no intentions of letting go!!!!

Striving from different life-perspectives, we see ourselves and each other in individual responsibilities to give this entity any sort of significance. Aware of our beings with all its advantages of modern society, we cannot and won't be able to close our eyes and minds from all this failed concepts we're forced to deal with in our daily bases. Sick of asking whether these concepts make sense in any way or not. These are the voices of the unsatisfied. The marginalised. We're sick of being flawless and adapted. Conditioned to follow or to lead. We have not forgotten to think for ourselves. Take responsibility for ourselves. To share and to feel. This is the wrath of the unassimilated who were forced to participate in this farce. We're tired asking the same unanswered questions and using this collective to create a vent for all the accumulated frustration about democracy, fascists, racists, sexists and all the other fucked up agendas. Our storm will wash it all away. Never stop dreaming....
