Verikalpa is a Troll/Beer-metal band from the Northern city of Oulu in Finland. They combine groovy riffs and rhythms with twisted folk melodies with a very Finnish touch. The lyrics are in Finnish and more specifically in the accent of Oulu. The songs are tales about drinking, hangovers, trolls and of course bloodspattered eternal battles. Verikalpa is formed by six musicians from bands such as CATAMENIA and QUAKE THE EARTH and this experienced group of musicians deliver their music with a firm touch and with an energetic live show.

First formed in 2003 No Quarter has been kicking along in some shape or form for almost 15 years. We are a 5 Piece Punk Rock band based in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales and our music consists of fast 90's style punk rock. After some very early line up changes and then early recordings in 2004 with the original singer Cameron things started to pick up a bit. Then due to family commitments in 2005 Cameron had to leave which gave Chris the opportunity to move to vocals and Micka to join as the drummer.
It was in that year with the new line up our first No More Guns, No More Blood was recorded and released. It was a mixed bag. With 4 of the 7 songs turning out ok but it was what it was. It was recorded and mixed in 4 days, with the studio next door to a bottle shop and back packers hostel so it was just a party. After it's release we No Quarter gigged pretty full on right up until 2008 enjoying some great shows in the hunter valley, central coast, Canberra and north coast. During 2008 Chris eventually moved to Brisbane and it was at this stage things slowed down until the recording of lodestar in 2009 - 2010 and its release in November 2010.
After releasing the Lodestar ep in 2010 things were pretty quiet again for a while, jamming in Dan's shed or at Micka's house just to catch up as Chris now live a fair distance from the rest of us. In 2014 Micka and Chris started working on new songs which turned out to be the beginning of our upcoming album Freedom. It's been a slow process. Paris kind of just vanished just after we did all the guitar demos for the album leaving Lachlan (Darcy) to take his place. We'd known Darcy ever since our early gigs at the Percy in Singleton and he's always remained close to the band after playing in other bands and recording the guitar demos for us. It was a logical and easy step for him to replace Paris. We all have full time jobs, houses to pay off, some if us have kids etc so during the Freedom recording Matt and Dan decided they couldn't commit their time to it anymore. There was no harsh feelings though and by this stage we'd had alot of involvement from our other friends Paul and Joshua who used to play gigs with us in a band called New Sedition. So again it was it easy transition for the new guys.
At the moment we've just released our first full length album Freedom through Melodic Punk Style records. We're currently jamming all our new songs and old as Josh and Paul get up to speed before commencing gigs again early next year. So No Quarter has been a long drawn out hell of a time. Can't wait to start kickin it again with everybody!!!

There’s a musical adventure coming from Orange County, California... Orchestrated by The Professor and the Madman!
Professor and the Madman are (in studio) Alfie Agnew, Sean Elliott (both veterans of the Orange County music scene) and Rat Scabies (veteran of the UK music scene).
Each volume of 'Elixir' is themed, crossing genres as in a soundtrack.
The first volume, 'Elixir, Volume I’, 'Good Evening, Sir!” is a darkly psychedelic offering with a Faustian theme: A “Desperate Man' seeks the 'Devil's Bargain”.
The second volume of Professor and the Madman is entitled, 'Elixir, Volume II', “Election”. This installment looks at the dark side of American politics as inspired by the fictional character, Greg Stillson, from Stephen King’s, “Dead Zone”.
These collective works from Alfie Agnew and Sean Elliott are sure to make you think and reflect back on your own life as you listen to the grave vocal tones and sometimes haunting guitar riffs, while leaving you thoroughly fulfilled by each chapter's closing.
Depending on the volume, you will find influences ranging from The Damned and early Punk to Pink Floyd and The Beatles. So close the door or roll up the window, and let the show begin!

We are a 4 piece punk/noise rock outfit from south Philly. We've been in various Philly based bands over the last 15 years (cannons/problems most recent). We actually met in a bowling league about 4 years ago, but we didn't start jamming until 2 years later. We bought a van and hit the road this past year to help promote our self released 7 song EP, HELL (2016). We made our way to Baltimore/D.C./ Cincinnati/Harrisburg/ Toronto (3 shows at indie music week fest) multiple local shows and and an upcoming show in Brooklyn to top off this busy year. We are hitting the studio in the early part of 2018 to record an LP
