    CASSANDRA

Formed in early 2016, in Magelang City. It consists of Sigit (vocals), Candra (guitar), Adi (guitar), Machine (Bass) and Abas (drums). But shortly after the band was formed, Adi resigned and was replaced by David to fill Cassandra’s void.
The name CASSANDRA itself does not have any special meaning or philosophy for us. When we think of a name that is easy to remember and easy to say, many lists that come to our minds, the name of cassandra is what we think most represent.
In february 2017, we have officially released a single titled “SISTEMATIS MANIPULASI” that we uploaded in the account souncloud and reverbnation in streaming and free download in the hope that our singles can be received by music lovers. Based on different influences of each personnel, international metal bands such as ARCH ENEMY, LAMB OF GOD, OBITUARY, etc. We agreed to carry the modern death metal genre, melodic death metal rhythms and grooves that we mix with old school death metal into our way to pack it to be more modern.
The single “Sistematis Manipulasi” itself is our view of the system around us that is overly manipulated by certain parties only for an individual interest.

Not only that Marsinah also inspired Marginal in releasing the 3rd album with the title of album “Marsinah” cover marsinah face with black and white format. Incredibly, the title song “Marsinah” is the same as the title of the album, very familiar because many young people sing the song “Marsinah” in tongkrongan, music studio, even in a musical performance.
In 2005 Marginal again bringing the 4th album with the theme of the “Predator” which consists of cassettes 1 & 2. The cultivation process of the 4th album has been progressing progressively because it is supported by a powerful tool, very much different when compared to previous albums, whether viewed from the cover design or the tape recording.

  • Youngest and Only
  • Popes of Chillitown

    Popes of Chillitown

POPES OF CHILLITOWN are a Ska/Dub/Punk band from London, who have been rampaging through the UK scene for the last few years like an unstoppable grooving, skanking juggernaut. A straight-up ska-punk band they are not, expertly mashing the energy of upbeat ska, punk, 2-tone and drum & bass with the groove of reggae and dub, adding in the lyrical flow of hip hop and finishing it all off with a generous helping of catchy melodies and hooks. The result has been likened to artists such as Capdown, Skindred, The Beat, The Police and Jamie T.

After releasing their pledge-funded debut album 'A Word To The Wise' in 2013, the band have had a relentless touring schedule across the UK and into Europe, seeing them play banging headline shows, festivals and support slots with the likes of Reel Big Fish, The Selecter, The Skints, Imperial Leisure, [Spunge], Mouthwash, The Snare and many more.

May 2015 saw them release their sophomore album 'To The Moon', an explosive tour-de-force of groove and energy with a lifetime's worth of lyrical hooks, melodies and basslines.

  • Down Goes Goodman
  • Rosen

    Rosen

Imagine Rage Against the Machine on steroids and speed, fast forward to the future, and you’ve got Rosen – a cyberpunk band fusing rock, nu metal, hip-hop, and electronic music to create the perfect storm.

The melting pot of the London metropolis brought the members Frisco (drums), Matt Ress (guitar), Kam Ikaze (bass), Cole Sław (keys), and Frhetoric (vocals) together from Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark and Iran.

The name Rosen is taken from Philip K. Dick’s novel “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?”, which is set in a dystopian world where manufactured androids have become virtually indistinguiable from humans.

This bleak vision is manifested by provocative lyrics peppered with social commentary and served on a platter of genre-bending sounds that reflects the band’s diverse musical backgrounds.

The cyberpunk genre depicts society as “High Tech Low Life”, so naturally that is the title of Rosen’s debut single that touches on the narcissism of social media

Their second single “Riot” addresses the current trend of censorship, ignorance and lack of purpose, while mocking Millennials who turn to pointless riots in a desperate cry for attention.

  • Peace in Protest

    Peace in Protest

‘Peace in Protest’ is the amalgamation of three best friends with diverse musical backgrounds brought together by their desire to create hard rock that gets people moving. Constantly pushing their creative boundaries to exploit musical niches and taking their favourite features of rock, metal, pop, and anything you would call ‘groovy’.

If you were to ask them where they found inspiration for any of their records, you could expect to be shown anything from 80’s funk, Icelandic folk, Biffy Clyro’s secret B-sides, and even the latest chart-topping pop track.

Prior the band’s conception in the summer of 2017, frontman Ben had been touring with artists such as Lonely the Brave, Dead!, and Press to Meco before moving to Brighton to join childhood best friend and drummer, Sean, who had been active with bassist, Lawrie, in the Brighton’s buzzing indie scene for about a year. In that time, they had released records gaining tens of thousands of plays across the UK and USA.

Having recently recorded at Brighton Electric Studios, they released their upbeat and hooky debut single 'Backwards'.

  • Black Income

    Black Income

    Line-up

    Henrik Thrane - Guitar/Lead Vocal
    Lars 'Animal' Olrik - Drums
    Michael Gersdorff Kristensen - Bass/Vocal

Black Income was formed in 2011 by four three with an ambition to create rock music; honest rock music inspired by the early 90’s when grunge was the sound. After only one year together, in 2013, Black Income entered the legendary Medley Studio in Copenhagen, where bands like Radiohead, D-A-D and Kent has recorded some of their best albums. They teamed up with Soren Andersen (Glen Hughes, Mike Tramp, D-A-D) who produced what would become the new album ‘Noise Pollution’
‘Noise Pollution’ is twelve hard-hitting and extremely well-written rock-tunes with focus in the riff and the catchy melody
in contrast to the solid Stoner/ Fuzz-Riff's are the core of the bands colored tunes, where anything can happen.
The best way to describe Black Income, is a new rock identity emerged from the Grunge wave in the early 90s, combined with elements from today's Fuzz-Rock. Black Income may be inspired by acts like Queens of the Stone Age, Tool, Fu Manchu, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden and Stone Temple Pilots, but the sound and feel is their own. This is truly a unique rock band.

  • Empire

    Empire

EMP!RE are a five piece rock band from the South West of England, formed in early 2012.

After putting out a low key self released EP, 'Birth' in late 2012 to give early and eager fans a taste of things to come, some great reviews followed from the likes of Rhythm magazine “EMP!RE have found an incredible chemistry... the sound of a band that has quickly become a well oiled tune spewing machine.”, Total Guitar and Afro Punk, where EP track ‘All The Rage’ was rated as one of their Top 10 best songs of 2012.

Determined to raise the bar, EMPIRE recorded their debut Mini Album 'Where the World Begins in 2013 with Chris Coulter (Arcane Roots, Trails, A Plastic Rose) and released to critical acclaim in October 2013. This album captures the sound of a band finding their collective voices, working together to create a strikingly anthemic sound. Vitriolic and exciting in equal measure, the hooks stick like glue.

Following the arrival of the mini album 'Where the World Begins', EMP!RE have released two singles, 'Black Hearts' and 'Future, Past and Present’. The latter resulting in being in the Scuzz most wanted chart, whilst receiving extensive airplay on radio, including being Band of the week on TeamRock Radio.

'The best new voice in Rock' - Kerrang!
‘Forget Genres: EMPIRE are weird enough to appeal to everyone’ Metal Hammer
‘It’s easy to see why this lot is causing such a buzz' Big Cheese
‘You’ll be hard pressed to find a better vocal performance on record this year’Rock Sound
‘Sharp riffs, anthemic fist raisers, and of course, the virtuosic vocals’ Afro Punk

Since then, EMP!RE have moved from strength to strength, releasing single 'Patchwork and Bone' along with B-Side 'Truth In Your Eyes' both premiered exclusively to Kerrang Magazine, among other radio and TV outlets. This single was the catalyst for their biggest headline tour to date in February 2015 covering 18 venues across the whole of the UK. The festival's continued to roll in towards the summer with the mainstage at Takedown Festival, along with a packed out 3rd Stage at Download Festival in June 2015
