First MIDNATTSOL was hitting the spotlight fast. Just a few months after the formation in 2002, the band recorded their demo. With songs hitting right in the heart of the listener, the band quickly gathered fans via internet as well as articles in magazines. Soon a deal with Napalm Records followed. The debut album WHERE TWILIGHT DWELLS was released 2005 and enchanted legions of fans with atmospheric and powerful music, inspired by the mystic Nordic nature. The following months consisted of promoting the debut at festivals like Summer Breeze, Wave Gothic Treffen, Mera Luna and a tour with IN EXTREMO. In 2008 the sextet`s second album NORDLYS was released and won lots of new Metal -, Goth-, and Folk music fans with its great variety. But the positive flow was interrupted by the leaving of Christian Hector after the release. It took more than a year to find the perfect replacement: the guitarist Alex Kautz joined the band officially at the Metal Female Voices Fest 2009. The unforgettable concert was exceeded when the band won the 'Best Hope' Award. This evening was a new beginning. And everyone getting the Limited Edition of THE METAMORPHOSIS MELODY will be able to relive these moments – a DVD of this concert will be in the package as well as an extra song with Daniel Droste (singer of AHAB) doing the vocals.
  • Like Pacific

    Like Pacific

Like Pacific is a Punk quintet hailing from Toronto, Canada. The band, which consists of Jordan Black (vocals), Chris Thaung (bass), Greg Hall (guitar), Luke Holmes (guitar) and Taylor Ewart (drums), has found itself making waves in the Pop Punk scene through their unique, energetic and upbeat but introspective form of Pop Punk. Their references to their beloved hometown streets with song titles like “Richmond”, “Chine Drive” and a scenic Toronto-based music video for “Distant’’ have made them one of Toronto’s staples in the scene.

After being featured on Alternative Press’ “100 Bands You Need to Know”, the band signed to Pure Noise Records in the winter of 2014. The band released their debut full-length “Distant Like You Asked” 2 years later. The record was tracked at Room 21 Sound with the scene-renowned producer Sam Guaiana. The album would result in many achievements for the band; leading to 5,000 copies sold worldwide, 1 million Spotify plays on the single “Distant”, and features in Spotify’s official playlists such as “Punk Rock Workout” and “Pop Punk’s Not Dead”.

The band began to see new opportunities on the road, being a part of the AP Tour with State Champs and Neck Deep, the full Vans Warped Tour, Riot Fest and SXSW. They would also end up on tour packages with bands like Good Charlotte, Senses Fail, Counterparts and Four Year Strong. Furthermore, the band has toured the U.K and Europe various times with the Slam Dunk Festival and Trophy Eyes.

Like Pacific are swinging for massive success and with a recent history of the past few years of touring the world to having their merchandise sold at Hot Topics internationally, their trajectory is exponential. Make sure to check out Like Pacific on tour at a city near you!

  • Spankraght

    Spankraght

    “The Sound Of Belgium 2018”
Really? Hell no! But it sounds cool, doesn’t it? It’s like Channel Zero and Netsky having a baby.
Spankraght’s goal? Be the band that could play on Graspop and Tomorrowland. Will that ever happen? No one knows but it has been the mission since they started in 2015. And for two years they perfected their sound and image. Everything was done with a strong DIY mentality. Their masks, light set-up, music recording,…, all trial and error. Often returning to the drawing board and starting from scratch again.
But why waste more words? Just listen to Spankraght’s first EP and find out for yourself what they are all about. We can try to explain as much as we want but the only way to really know is to experience the sound of Belgium 2018.
    Do it now!

    Eva Plays Dead

Rock 'n' roll isn't dead, and Eva Plays Dead are the perfect proof. The antidote to all things pretentious and self-indulgent, this resurgent quartet are a monument to no-nonsense rock with attitude.

Fronted by boss-lady Tiggy Dockerty and her punk tinged vocals, Eva Plays Dead are a British rock band from Nottingham, UK, blending big riffs, infectious melodies and raucous energy.

They have been referred to as the Midland's 'Joan Jett and The Black Hearts' and although the punk attitude is more than evident, influence is drawn from a vast range of contemporary musicians such as Marmozets, Biffy Clyro and Gallows alongside the classic household names of Black Flag, Queens of the Stoneage and Foo Fighters.

  • Trashed Ambulance

    Trashed Ambulance

Formed in 2014, Trashed Ambulance has defied all odds, member changes and hangovers to become a gnarly force in Central Alberta. Trashed has shared the stage with such punk rock juggernauts as Face to Face, the Real Mckenzies, SNFU, the Isotopes and Belvedere and it's fair to say, the future is bright for this gang of miscreants. Keep your ear to the ground as these dudes are trashed and making a scene.

  • Avalanche Party

    Avalanche Party

Avalanche Party is feral garage-punk from the wild North Yorkshire Moors, hopped up on adrenalin and amphetamines. Their sound is intense and immediate, so new yet so familiar and brimming with an urgency that explodes off the stage like the front lines of a war you didn’t even realise was being fought. Every note played through white knuckles, every word spat through gritted teeth. The beats blast like cannons while the guitars stampede like spooked stallions surging ever onward, snorting, snarling and tearing apart everything in their path.

The past year has seen Avalanche Party tear away from the moors, raising venues all around the UK and Europe to the ground with intense live performances. Hotly tipped by many for big success the band has had heavy radio support, being championed by BBC Introducing, Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, 6Music’s Steve Lamacq and Tom Robinson, Vic Galloway at BBC 17, John Kennedy at Radio X, Edith Bowman at Virgin Radio, Jim Gellatly, Amazing Radio and KCRW’s Jason Kramer in the USA. The band were also recently asked to record a live session for BBC 6Music.

An intensely busy year which has seen the band tour the UK constantly with numerous festival appearances including visceral performances at Reading & Leeds Festival, Y-Not Festival, Humber Street Sesh, Twisterella Festival, Stockton Calling amongst others and a European tour taking in Belgium, France, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Serbia.

  • Spock's Beard

    Spock's Beard

Spock’s Beard were formed in 1992 in Los Angeles by brothers Neal Morse and Alan Morse. Neal (keyboards/guitars/lead vocals) and Alan (lead guitars/vocals) were joined by Nick D'Virgilio (drums/ vocals), Dave Meros (bass/vocals), and keyboardist Ryo Okumoto. Spock's Beard have released eleven studio CDs to date, including the highly regarded The Kindness Of Strangers and V. The epic concept album, Snow, released in 2002, also marked the departure of leader and main composer, Neal Morse, in favor of a solo career as a Christian Progressive Rock artist. After his departure, the frontman role was taken on by D'Virgilio. This Spock's Beard v 2.0 released four more studio albums, Feel Euphoria, Octane, Spock's Beard, all on InsideOut Music, and X, released on Mascot Records.

With a touring schedule that has covered much of Europe and the US, they have delighted their legions of fans at major festivals around the world. Their live shows have been well documented on DVDs and CDs, including 2005's Gluttons For Punishment, recorded during the Octane Tour, Spock's Beard Live, recorded in Holland during 2007's Spock's Beard Tour and released the following year, a live DVD of the X Tour was filmed in Los Angeles and released in the fall of 2011 as-well-as Live at Sea, which captures the band’s stellar second performance on the Progressive Nation at Sea Cruise on the Norwegian Pearl on February 21, 2014, also featuring Neal Morse.

D'Virgilio departed from the band in 2011 to become a musical director and performer with Cirque du Soleil. Subsequently, the band added their touring drummer, Jimmy Keegan (Santana) and singer/ guitarist, Ted Leonard (Enchant) to their regular lineup. The addition of Ted and Jimmy has brought a fresh new energy to The Beard. Ted is also contributing his formidable writing skill, which has resulted in a much more soulful and diverse mix of material with this incarnation of the band.

The year 2013 and 2014 have been significantly good ones for Spock’s Beard. While the band was busy promoting their highly critically endorsed new collection, Brief Nocturnes and Dreamless Sleep, officially released in May of 2013 on InsideOut Music, they also completed two ambitious tours to promote the new release, as international audiences reveled in the complex wave of musicality in live performances. This latest effort brings the fusion, rock, and classical influences strongly to the forefront and appeared on countless “best of 2013” charts worldwide. As 2014 soon sees its close, the band are currently tracking and recording material for their twelfth studio album which release date is anticipated to be sometime in 2015.

With this fantastic lineup and exciting live performances, Spock's Beard are poised to excite audience members new and old throughout 2015 and beyond!!
