Punk rockers New Deadline introduce new single ‘Black Tree’
18. Over the years, New Deadline have supported bands like RISE AGAINST, ALL TIME LOW to promote 2015’s full-length ‘Remember’. They also got wider notice with showcases at last year’s Reeperbahn Festival in Germany. Vocalist Jonas Aaltio describes the meaning and story behind the single the following:
“‘Black Tree’ was one of the first songs we wrote for the new album. It's one of our faster songs and an awesome live track. The punch line ‘disagreeing does not make an enemy’, is a note to remember the role of communication and mutual respect. It has shaped up to be one of the core sentences that cuts through the whole new material.”Also, their new record was produced in Finland and mixed by Romesh Dodangoda. The latter had already worked with huge bands such as MOTÖRHEAD, BRING ME THE HORIZON, FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND etc., in the UK.
Please note that there will be constant updates on the new album and tour activities in the oncoming months, so stay tuned!
