Pop-punks A Swift Farewell unveil single “The Fire”

A Swift Farewell is a 4-piece alternative/pop-punk band hailing from Sydney, Australia. The band consists of Dwayne Morris (Drums), Emma Mather (Vocals), Sarah Bonnet (Bass) and Ryo Sprott (Guitar & Vocals). A Swift Farewell
On their new single, “The Fire”, the band comments: “We wanted to make “The Fire” unique by emphasising the contrast between happy music and sad lyrics as much as possible. If you think about it, the two best things about music are 1) it can be enjoyable and you can dance, sing (or mosh) along to it. 2) It can be really cathartic and relatable, helping you go through rough times. With this song, we tried to combine the two.” The past months have allowed the band to focus on their songwriting, their aesthetic and artistic vision and the message they wanted to put out in the world. “The Fire” is only the beginning of what they have planned for the rest of 2020.
