Learn the story behind My Dinosaur Life's forthcoming EP

My Dinosaur Life is a five-piece pop-punk band hailing from Cremona, a small town in Northern Italy. The band consists of Berry (vocals), Pete (guitar - vocals), Chicco (guitar), Miki (bass) and Angi (drums). The band takes it influences from bands such as Motion City Soundtrack, The Ataris and The Wonder Years! Their emotional songs are indeed characterized by catchy hooks, upbeat tempos and melancholy lyrics.
“The songs on our new EP are all about surviving our 20s and how we cope with all the struggles in our lives. During these years, you feel like you’re too young to be giving up your dreams. But you also don’t want to feel like you’ve been left behind and, unfortunately, you just can’t ignore the cold reality. This, of course, affects our lives in every aspect whether it’s our jobs, our relationships or anything! Each song tries to cover a different topic. It’s a constant battle in our minds, and it comes with a whole load of anxiety. We still don’t know if there’s a proper way to get through these troubled times, but I can say that we all grew up so much during the process of writing this record. Not just as individuals but also as a band, I think. Musically speaking, we shifted to a more mature sound, trying to blend all our influences into our own and personal mix of emo-rock while keeping a hint of pop punk“, reveals the band.
